Office Visits

It is recommended that you call the office for an appointment instead of just walking in. Allowing walk-ins would be unfair to the patients who have set up an appointment time to see their doctor.  We do realize that emergencies may arise but whenever possible, please call our appointment staff for an appointment time to assure that the office schedule flows as smoothly as possible for all of the patients.  We will try very hard to work in patients that really need to be seen right away.  Work-In patients will usually wait until we have a break in the schedule, a cancellation or if a patient does not show up for their scheduled appointment.

On your first visit to our office you will be asked to fill out about three forms.  It would be best if you could arrive about 15 minutes early for your appointment so that you can get your forms completed and possibly be able to be taken back to the exam room to see the doctor closer to your appointment time.  The forms are also required to be filled out if you are seeing the doctor for a new problem or if it has been more than a year since you have been to the office.  We just want to make sure that we do have the correct information on each patient, especially the insurance information.   Please also bring your insurance card or cards with you and a list of your medication that you are currently taking.  Many insurance companies require a referral from your primary care physician before allowing you so see a specialist.  We need to have that referral in our office before your appointment.  Please check with you primary physician before the appointment date to make sure that they have sent this referral to our office to prevent any delay in you seeing the doctor.  Please also let us know if you have had any x-rays or an MRI done on the same problem that we are going to see you for.

Prescription Refills

We require a 24-hour notice to have a prescription refilled.  Please call your pharmacy prior to picking up your prescription to make sure that it has been called in and ready for pick up.  If there is a problem with filling your prescription request, our office will contact you and let you know.  We are unable to fill or refill narcotics or other prescriptions after regular office hours or on the weekend.

Clinical Telephone Calls

Each one of our physicians has his own nurse working with him.  You will meet the nurse that works daily with your doctor and best of all she will be the same one that continues to assist the doctor every time you come in. We have found that our patients really like knowing the name of the person that they need to call and talk with.

MRI  UNIT

Our office is equipped with a state-of-the-art MRI unit designed specifically for the knee, ankle, elbow and wrist.  This is very convenient for our patients
